SUMMARY:Tour of “The Sassoons” at the Jewish Museum
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a group outing to the Jewish Museum to see “The Sassoons\,” a sweeping exhibit about one of the grandest families of the 19th century\, often called the “Rothschilds of the East.” The exhibit is a panoramic survey of four generations of traders\, socialites\, soldiers\, and sybarites. Their lives and possessions map a century of forced migration\, colonial expansion\, and absorption into high society. \nYour day will begin with a private\, 1-hour tour of the exhibit before having ample time to explore the museum on your own. We will also have time for lunch (BYO or buy locally). \nYour ticket includes museum admission\, a private tour\, and comfortable transportation to and from the Shames JCC. Space is limited!
