DESCRIPTION:Coming of Age: Confirmations and B’Mitzvahs\nRev Garth Evans\, St. Barnabas\, and Rabbi Jay Stein\, Greenburgh Hebrew Center \nThese discussions by two clergy leaders will explore lifecycle events and rituals through the lens of two different faiths. Across diverse religions and cultures\, there are ceremonies and traditions acknowledging a child’s maturation and entrance into adulthood.  We will examine how Jews and Christians mark these transitions and how the communal responsibilities of young adults in each faith develop and evolve.
